Sharks Cricket Academy journey began in 1995, founded by Salim Akbar and fellow experienced cricketers. Our focus was to bring likeminded sportsmen under one roof to refine their cricketing skills and maintain their ability. Over the years, as our team expanded and grew, we evolved into an Academy.

We now deliver a professional standard of training, even on a one-to-one level, to young aspiring cricketers. We use sophisticated coaching techniques such as video analysis as a supplement to our own long-standing experience as professional cricketers.

Additionally, we are proud to be helping under privileged cricketers based in Pakistan through charitable assistance. Apart from our training endeavours, we have notably toured Spain to play against clubs, and in our time as a team we have played internationally renowned teams of Nepal and Germany.

The Sharks have a deep history however, we hope this has given an insight into the highlights of our journey!

We offer a range of professional and targeted support, both in one to one and group settings. We are particularly proud to provide customised fitness training alongside video analysis to track your progress, for both men and women.  Additionally, we can liaise with our partnered academies in India, Pakistan, Australia and the UAE, regarding your training history and ability, if you wish to take up training in these locations.  Our extensive service ensures you can take up training with zero hassle where its best suits you.
